The beautiful valley of Shimshal constitues the northern most Pamir mountain ranges of Pakistan.This is one of the most beautiful point in the valley as the Shimshal lake surrounds it.The mountain of Mingli Sar is in front of it.From here one can have the glimpses of Karakoram mountains located just south of it.The world largest glaciers are loacted on the South eastern side of this valley.To the North is located the province of China while to the left are Hindukush ranges and their beautiful pastures.K2 i located on the southern eastern side of this valley.

@Zjamuing: Have you been here before? You need a valid Pakistani visa to enter in this area if you are foreigner. So I can understand your comment that this area is not of Pakistan.
